Favorite thing about the industry

My favorite thing about the industry is meeting new people and watching the way they transform after a hair appointment. I’ve had customers come in during some of the worst times in their lives and leave with a smile and a newfound confidence because of what we’ve done in the salon, and it’s truly a feeling that cannot be matched.

Fun fact about yourself

A fun fact about myself is that I was born in Jamaica but I grew up in Cheltenham, PA.

What do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and friends and SLEEP. I work two jobs so I take all the sleep I can get whenever possible. Im a homebody to the fullest extent.

How would you sum up who you are in the industry?

If I had to sum up who I am in the industry, it would be “whoever you need me to be”. I am a skilled stylist with a creative mind who takes direction well and executes at the desired level. My skills apply to all hair types and textures and that is one of the things that makes me unique. I have clients with hair that they deem “unmanageable” but they trust me wholeheartedly with their hair in various styles—if that isn’t a testament to who I am in this industry, I don’t know what is.
